I've created a fix for it which I've posted here. After resuming from hibernation or suspend the sound system doesn't restore. The built in speakers are Altec Lansing and the sound card is: Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 01). SOUND: The sound system works but has a number of problems, the worst being that the sound is very quiet compared to what it would be in windows. NDISWRAPPER works but the card is only able to establish a connection with a secure network.
I have not been able to get any native Linux drivers to work with the system. WIFI: This model laptop has no expansion slots which is a shame since the wireless card doesn't work well.
